  1. We shared many stories about our many common interests. I always appreciated Edward’s perspective on events. While remaining passionate about all aspects of life, he could look at things dispassionately. Being indifferent to things that are indifferent. I will always appreciate the scale and relativity he brought to situations which, for me, were hard to accept. Thank you, Dear Friend. Until we meet again.

  2. Edward had a special way of seeing the world. He could take a story or event and sift it through his mind and then present it back to others in such a way that it sparkled with higher energy and with never-before-seen insight. His perspective was practical, like a builder’s or an architect’s, but the end result was to be closer to God. Edward’s vision was always toward the innermost meaning and the highest possible outcome, spiritually, and not only for himself, but for all. He will be missed, and yet what was most precious about Edward will never disappear. He resonates in our hearts and minds like the best of music, which once heard never really ends.
