November 16, 1953 - May 1, 2025

Dear friends,

Irina Starikova, a beloved member of the Kyiv Center of the Fellowship of Friends, completed her task on Thursday, May 1, 2025, following a series of strokes.

Irina was born on November 16, 1953, and joined the Fellowship in Kyiv on February 18, 1997. Over the decades, she supported the center with dedication, serving for years as the center bookkeeper, among other octaves. She was 71 years old on her last birthday.

A friend writes, “Irina understood the system very well. She was a balancing force, helping the Kyiv center not fall apart in times of conflict. She was soft but firm, and had a sense of humor. She was very fair and supportive of others in her second line. Everyone loved and respected her being. She was like an angel.”
