Diane Hill

December 14, 1944 - August 17, 2025

Dear friends,

Diane Hill, a beloved member of the Apollo Center of the Fellowship of Friends, completed her task on August 17,  2025, from complications following internal surgery for an ongoing condition.

Diane was born on December 14, 1944, and joined the Fellowship in San Francisco, on September 1, 1975. She was 80 years old on her last birthday. She directed the Cincinnati center in the late 1970s. She lived most of her fifty years in the school at Apollo.

A friend writes, Diane loved nature and spent much time hiking. She enjoyed hosting visitors to places like Yosemite Valley and Table Mountain in Oroville. Before her several illnesses, she helped frequently in the Goethe Room, setting the table for dining events. She was a loving and loyal friend.

She will be missed.

On behalf of all who knew you, we give thanks.

The Elysian Society

I announce a life that shall be copious, vehement, spiritual, bold,

And I announce an end that shall lightly and joyfully meet its translation.

– Walt Whitman
